Paul Skenes and Griffin Jax, who both played baseball at the Air Force Academy, are giving the team a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch one of baseball’s most premier events this year in person.
Jax, who plays professional baseball for the Tampa Bay Rays, attended the Academy for three years and is an officer in the United States Air Force Reserve.
Skenes attended the school for two years before transferring to LSU and winning the College World Series.
Paul Skenes wrote a letter detailing what playing for Team USA means to him as someone who initially planned to serve in the Air Force: https://t.co/9OkotDlGAZ pic.twitter.com/KlY0YGToOz
