Infamous former Michigan Wolverines staffer Connor Stalions emerged in the news on Friday. Why? Because Stallions’ newest coaching stop has been revealed.
On X Friday, ESPN’s Pete Thamel wrote that Stalions now holds a position at a Detroit high school.
“He might be the most hated man in college football, but the coaches and kids at Mumford High School love him,” Thamel wrote, quoting Mumford high football coach William McMichael.

Stalions gained notoriety after being implicated in the Michigan sign-stealing scandal of 2023. He also became the subject of a Netflix documentary as part of their sports docuseries.
While it seems clear that Stallions refuses to cooperate with the NCAA about those allegations, it’s not stopping him from pursuing other football jobs either. His infamous presence with Michigan will likely remain around for sometime, especially depending on how the NCAA investigation goes.
That said, it’s the NCAA in 2024, so we’ll have to see how that itself shakes out.
The coach, McMichael, told Thamel that Stallions is working with the high school program as a volunteer. But the program appears to have hired him as their defensive coordinator.
