The Boston College Eagles made history on Labor Day. The program earned a massive win over the tenth-ranked Florida State Seminoles.

That upset victory was 28-13. Their 15-point victory helped the BC program make history.

Boston College noted online that their win over FSU was the largest road victory in Eagles program history.

Boston College made serious waves on Labor Day with its win over FSU. The Seminoles haven’t looked the part at all thus far this year, and BC made them pay, as Georgia Tech did ten days earlier. The ‘Noles are 0-2 and 0-2 against conference opponents, which makes for a lousy worst-case scenario for them.

However, for BC fans, that’s hardly their concern. Same thing for FSU haters, of which there are many.

Boston College still has a lot left to do. Now, in a wide-open ACC, the Eagles may aim to rebound off that success Monday night. They still play a Top 10 team in Mizzou this year, and obviously, there’s still an ACC season for them to play. Maybe Monday night will be the start of something special in Chestnut Hill. If nothing else, the program’s historic win will go down as a huge highlight for the team in 2024.
