Former Duke star Jabari Parker went viral this week after a shocking picture of his knee went viral.

Parker averaged 19.1 points and 8.7 rebounds in his lone season at Duke and went on to be the second overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. Despite a promising outlook, Parker’s repeated left-knee injuries hampered his ability to play at the top level.
This made me incredibly sad. Look at that knee.
Jabari will forever go down as one of the biggest “what if” guys in basketball history https://t.co/5y9t9ZeRqu

Despite not playing in the NBA since 2022, Parker has had a successful career overseas.
He’s still one of today’s biggest “what if’s,” especially after averaging over 20 points per game in 2017 before a season-ending ACL tear ended his campaign.
And still hooping. So much respect for it.

Jabari Parker only being 30 is kinda crazy to think about. Injuries really took his potential away he should be in his NBA prime rn 😔

At only 30, Parker’s NBA career was cut short by injuries, and we wish we could’ve seen what he was truly capable of in the big leagues.
