A New England furniture chain promised customers free furniture if both UConn basketball teams made the National Championship game.
They may be regretting the promotion now…

The promotion is simple: furniture purchased at a Jordan’s location between January 20 and March 1 qualifies for a full rebate if both UConn basketball teams play in the National Championship.
With both Husky teams in the Final Four, the likelihood of this happening is increasing by the day.

It’s a page from the Mattress Mack playbook… spread the word. They’ll be fine either way 😬 pic.twitter.com/NOKkYnoEOk

That un-buh-leeve-able 3-pointer by UConn freshman Braden Mullins just cost Jordan’s Furniture a bundle! #UConnHuskies

Of course, the fun police (Darren Rovell) came out to show how the promotion really works.
Not really. It’s the insurance company who underwrote what is called prize indemnity insurance.
And they are thrilled. They are trending on Twitter and everyone is talking about them. https://t.co/lhY5LpH2ZR

Regardless of how much it really costs the store, promotions like this are what make March such a special time of year.
