In ultimate March fashion, the No. 1 overall seeded Duke fell in heartbreaking fashion to UConn in the Elite Eight.

It’s a moment you’ll remember the place you were when you watched it. It defined Jon Scheyer’s career at Duke thus far and further cemented Dan Hurley’s legacy as a big-game coach.

It was everything you could ever ask for in a playoff basketball game on the biggest stage in the world.

Cayden Boozer was in tears after a turnover with less than 10 seconds left in regulation, giving UConn the ball and ultimately, the game.

Now the attention turns to Coach Jon Scheyer, who’s now had arguably the best roster in the sport two years in a row with nothing to show for it.

With Duke being one of the most iconic (or infamous) programs in all of sports, the internets reaction to the heartbreaking loss was all-time:

At least Duke fans will have a Lakers playoff run and a full Yankees baseball season to enjoy!
