The Miami Redhawks’ undefeated season came to a screaching halt in the MAC Conference Quarterfinals.

After trailing most of the game, the Minutemen’s late surge in the final five minutes was the nail in the coffin for the RedHawks undefeated campaign. It was a game that defines why basketball in March is so electric.

We will have a BID STEALER out of the MAC!
Frank Martin and UMass stun Miami (OH) in Cleveland.
Redhawks are now 31-1 and could be headed to Dayton.
The Minutemen are just TWO WINS away from the NCAA Tournament.
This is ******* March.

Selection Sunday has now just become a lot more nerve-racking for the Redhawks. While their 31-1 record against a very weak bubble should be enough to lock them in, nothing is guaranteed after failing to win the MAC Tournament.
Iβm already imagining the committee picking Auburn/Indiana over Miami (OH)
Unfortunately, itβs going to happen

Soooooooo is Miami a tournament team?
This is a really bad loss. If Auburn beats Tennessee today, itβs going to be a looooong wait on selection Sunday for Miami. https://t.co/6teSTL4oO7

Actually a fun game to watch, Miami (OH) in my opinion should be locked

Miami was an incredible story all season and a lot of fun to watch. It would be a shame if it ended like this.
