After several investigations and subsequent firing for recruiting violations, LSU is looking to bring back former head coach Will Wade to lead the basketball program back to relevance.

Wade brought the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament in three of his five seasons as head coach (COVID cancelled the tournament in 2020). After being fired, he went on to coach two seasons at McNeese State and one at NC State.
He made the tournament all three seasons with both programs.
Will Wade met with NC State officials Wednesday to discuss reports around a possible return to LSU, source confirms.
NC State is expected to make a competitive offer within 24 hours to keep Wade in Raleigh.
