Kansas’ star freshman guard and projected 1st overall pick of the 2026 NBA Draft Darryn Peterson made the Texas Tech student section eat its words on Monday night.
Red Raider fans chanted “He’s a p*ssy” at the oft-injured phenom before Peterson went to the line for free throws.
Tech fans did end up regretting that chant, as Peterson nailed two clutch 3-pointers in the final 90 seconds to propel KU to victory.
