Steven Jamerson II, who picked up a flagrant foul, was immediately met with screams from Cronin, who instructed assistants to walk him to the locker room.
Cronin, known for his outspoken personality, is beginning to wear thin with UCLA fans.
We don’t want that type of garbage back in Westwood. pic.twitter.com/NyDqJojZMT

This is truly one of the funniest things I’ve seen a coach do. Mick is out of his mind this year, I love it so much. I don’t think I’d love it if I was a UCLA fan lol, but from afar the entire Cronin experience this year is laugh out loud funny. https://t.co/fxvfx7T8oJ

Imagine kicking a player out for trying to make a hustle chase down block when you’re down 30. That’s why you’re down 30 bc you punish guys for it. What a loser mick Cronin is https://t.co/Vp0bw3I0pw

Tom Izzo, the legendary Michigan State head coach, said he’d never witnessed a coach eject his own player before.
Tom Izzo on Mick Cronin ejecting his own player:
“I guess he upgraded that flagrant to a flagrant 2. That’s the first time I’ve seen a coach do it, but that sounds like Mick.”

Will Cronin’s antics further divide a locker room that’s desperately fighting for a spot in the tournament?
