The football world lost a promising, young player in Rondale Moore to a suspected suicide in February. The loss radiated through the football world, but when the time came to lay him to rest, notable figures were absent.
Kyle Pitts posted this about Rondale Moore’s celebration of life… “Crazy how only about 6 maybe 7 of your teammates in the NFL showed up for you today smfh. All that talk about fake emotion and nobody want to show up to lay you to rest. Just at a loss of words.” pic.twitter.com/XBH8BIbP8A

Kyle Pitts, a teammate with Moore briefly in Atlanta, blasted Moore’s teammates in Minnesota for not taking the time to attend his funeral. Moore, who spent time in Arizona, Atlanta, and Minnesota, received plenty of love online after his passing, but Pitts notes that wasn’t enough.
Social media agreed with Pitts’ decision to publicly call out those who didn’t attend the service.
I’m glad he called them out. You’d think Rondale’s peers would show up for him and his family considering it’s the offseason and how much we hear football is family. Smh https://t.co/hYKTraafLh

Our thoughts are with the Moore family during this incredibly hard time.
