Michigan barely had any time to celebrate its National Championship win.
Roughly 30 minutes after the final buzzer, the gates of hell, I mean the transfer portal, opened to 1,000+ players flooding into the marketplace.
After winning the national championship, the #Michigan coaching staff already started looking at the transfer portal.
It officially opened at midnight. pic.twitter.com/WRvJXz5uAR

With at least four starters moving on, the transfer portal isn’t a want, it’s a need for Dusty May’s squad to stay in Championship contention for next season.
#Michigan HC Dusty May said on @FirstTake that he and the coaching staff already been on Zoom/phone calls with recruits from transfer portal this morning.
“Hopefully we can get another roster together in the next few weeks and we can enjoy the title and reflect on it later on.” pic.twitter.com/DSPhIEbhsq

May and his staff have been in work mode today, barely given time to reflect on the months-long campaign that saw the No. 2 KenPom-ranked team ever dominate the NCAA tournament.
Dude never sleeps. We have the best coach in CBB. https://t.co/rYkUtsp0rP

I love that Dusty loves his job and works his ass off but this is fucking ridiculous. The team that wins the Natty should get to enjoy that shit for 48 hours or so. Why is getting the schedule right so hard for the stupid asses at the NCAA? https://t.co/NKKfFEt43j

While it’s awesome to see May already in work mode for next season, we should give the guy at least a DAY to celebrate his big win next season.
