Abnormalities on routine tests will require further testing, and Vitale has already fought four different types of cancer.

Vitale, often referred to as “Dickie V” is a beloved member of the basketball media and even at age 86 and numerous fights with cancer, remains sharp as a tack on the broadcasts.
