When asked about adjusting to college football, Colorado quarterback Julian Lewis gave a peculiar answer at Big 12 Media Days.
Lewis claims that now they’re looking at defenses instead of “free-balling” it like back in high school.

Lewis will be the starting quarterback for the Buffaloes football team. He flipped from USC and Lincoln Riley to coach under Deion Sanders.
The 18-year-old signal-caller entered the college ranks with massive hype after a prolific high school career at Carrollton High School in Georgia.
After a developmental true freshman season, he has taken the reins of the Buffaloes’ offense for the 2026 college football season.
If they just started studying defenses, there should be some improvement, we hope.
