Best Social Media Posts During Final Four

While the on-court play may have been too predictable during the Final Four, the online presence was NOT.

It was an all-time night online, with plenty of interesting commentary not seen on the traditional broadcast.

First, Dusty May started the night by being one of the few coaches to watch Game 1 courtside, taking notes on both opponents. It was ambitious, but after a blowout win, it looks genius:

Shooting was an issue at the Final Four. Labeled the “dome effect”, playing in such a large stadium messes with players’ depth perception. Dusty May had a fix, but the other teams struggled from deep:

Yaxel Lendeborg played through a knee injury, and despite limping up and down the court, he showed up clutch, dropping 11 points and three rebounds in only 14 minutes:

The Chainsmokers played a LONG set between games, leading to many fans being unhappy with having to wait for Michigan/Arizona, the Game of the Year, to start:

Speaking of Michigan/Arizona, SHEESH. Michigan dominated from start-to-finish. The ‘Game of the Year’ hype was too much for Tommy Lloyd’s Arizona to handle:

Ray Allen, one of the greatest three-point shooters of all-time and a UConn legend, was in attendance in a totally normal outfit:

Another famous attendee at UConn/Illinois was comedic legend, Bill Murray! The Illinois alum couldn’t sport his team’s gear โ€“ His son is a coach for UConn, and the only way to get free National Championship game tickets from the Huskies is to support them in public:

With 70,000 fans crowded into Lucas Oil Stadium, some seat views were… less than optimal:

Despite the blowout final game, the Final Four was a lot of fun to watch.

Now, we wait until Monday night, when Dusty May’s Wolverines take on Dan Hurley’s Huskies.

Who’s winning it all?
