Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders held a press conference this week as his team opens up training camp in preparation for the upcoming season. But Sanders flatly refused to answer any questions from one outlet.
When Eric Christensen of CBS News Colorado in Denver attempted to ask Deion Sanders a question, the coach cut him off as soon as he heard his affiliation.
“CBS, I’m not doing nothing with CBS,” Sanders said according to On3. “Next question. Ain’t got nothing to do with you, it’s above that. Ain’t got nothing to do with you. I’ve got love for you. I appreciate and respect you. Ain’t got nothing to do with you. They know what they did.”

The reporter tried to push back and inform Sanders that he was on assignment for the Denver News and was not representing CBS nationally. But Sanders was not having it.
“You are who you are. CBS is CBS,” he said. “Ain’t got nothing to do with you, I respect you. That’s why I told you that. I’m looking you in the eye as a man. I respect you, I got love for you. But what they did was foul.”
It’s not clear exactly why Sanders refused to answer questions from CBS, but back in July, the publication did rank Sanders as the second-worst head coach in the Big 12 going into the 2024 season.
