Fans Push For Former Ohio State Head Coach To Be Next President

A scandal that’s rocked The Ohio State University has created an important vacancy there.

With Ohio State on the search for a new school President, fans have pointed to one man fit for the job: legendary former football head coach Jim Tressel.

Tressel, 73, coached Ohio State’s football team from 2001-2010, winning a national championship and maintaining a 9-1 record against Michigan. In his post-coaching career, he served as President of Youngstown State University from 2014-2023, and is currently Lieutenant Governor of Ohio.

Will Ohio State bring back the Hall of Fame coach to right the ship?
