Kansas State men’s basketball coach Jerome Tang just threatened to cut his whole team next season after the Wildcats fell to 1-9 in their last ten games with a 91-62 loss at home to Cincinnati on Wednesday night.
Jerome Tang postgame:
“This was embarrassing. These dudes do not deserve to wear this uniform. There will be very few of them in it next year. It is just, ridiculous. We have practice at 6am… I’m pissed. This is… this is… yeah.”pic.twitter.com/LSWF2lIYsF

Tang, who took Kansas State to the Elite Eight in his first season as head coach in 2022, will miss the NCAA Tournament for a third straight season as K-State record’s is now 10-14 on the season.

As Jerome Tang turns his focus to rebuilding Kansas State’s roster for next season, a growing segment of the fan base believes three straight underwhelming years are reason enough to start over with new leadership.
I don’t think you have to worry about who is playing for K State next year, Jerome.

Signed through 2030, will Tang still be the man tasked with bringing Kansas State back to relevancy next season?
