College Football Head Coach Retires Over Sport’s Current State of Chaos

The current college football chaos has resulted in a long-time head coach Bobby Hauck stepping down to maintain his sanity.

Hauck, who spent 14 seasons as Montana’s head coach and went 13-2 this past season, was candid on why now was the right time to step down.

Hauck is not the first and won’t be the last coach to retire due to the shifting landscape and lack of regulation over NIL deals and the transfer portal.

Hauck’s sudden retirement begs the obvious question: Is a mass exodus of aging college football head coaches on the horizon?
