Former Star College Football RB Now Member of San Francisco PD

Don’t ever try running away from San Francisco police officer Javhid Best.

Best, a star running back at Cal, played two seasons with the Detroit Lions before injuries cut his career short.

He transitioned to track and field, competing in the 100 meters and becoming the first former NFL player to appear in the Summer Olympics.

Best has now found a home with the San Francisco Police Department, where his incredible athleticism may come in handy.

Props to Jahvid Best, who refused to let injuries and adversity slow him down.
