Not only is UConn sending both of its teams to the Final Four this season, the school hasn’t missed a Final Four since 2007.

Over the last three decades, UConn men’s and women’s basketball teams have combined for 17 National Championships (6 for men, 11 for women), and currently have the two best coaches in the sport, Geno Auriemma and Dan Hurley.

As for the football program, the Huskies compete as Independents. They finished the 2025 season 9-4, going 6-0 at home and playing a Bowl Game vs. Army.
They may not be in National Championship contention, but they did beat the ACC Champion Duke 37-34!
Beat the ACC Champ in football and went to a bowl game too.
