LSU has gone full YOLO.
After poaching Lane Kiffin from Ole Miss for $91 million & re-hiring controversial basketball coach Will Wade, the Tigers are now also bringing back Ed Orgeron as a special assistant to Lane Kiffin.
“Coach O” is a fan favorite known for his thick Cajun accent and hard-partying ways who led LSU to the 2019 national title as head coach.
Fired by LSU in 2021, the school just finished paying Orgeron a $17 million buyout in December of 2025. Now 6 months later, he is back on the school’s payroll.
