The Colorado Buffaloes turned backlash into a viral social moment.
It all started with this video:

Many fans are saying they appear to be the same size as a high school team.

The Buffaloes, who finished 3-9 last season under Deion Sanders, came into their spring game looking visibly undersized.
It led to a lot of online reaction about the facilities and coaches in place:

After the backlash online, Colorado’s social media team game planned and executed a reaction video from the players, who all had great responses to the negativity.

It may not change perceptions of their size, but it did show the human side of players and how they react to negativity and backlash.
