Brendan Sorsby is running out of places to play football this year.
Following his departure from Texas Tech and rejection in the NFL Supplemental Draft, the CFL announced it will also prohibit its teams from signing Sorsby in 2026.

The league explained it would neither register a contract for him nor allow teams to include him on negotiation lists, aiming to safeguard the “integrity of the league.”
Some believe it’s time for the Houston Gamblers of the UFL to do something humorous or surprising.
