More than 91,000 fans packed the massive stadium, but Messi did not play, remaining on the bench to manage muscle fatigue and a mild strain in his left hamstring. However — as one fan pointed out — he still managed to visit Kyle Field before the Georgia Bulldogs football team.

After the game, Texas A&M’s starting quarterback Marcel Reed approached Messi outside the locker room to give the soccer icon a personalized maroon No. 10 Aggies football jersey.
