Arizona State is dipping into its past on Saturday vs. San Diego State by wearing the throwback “Sunburst” helmet it wore from 1975-1979. The Sun Devils are doing this to honor late head coach Frank Kush, who passed away in June.
You can almost never go wrong with a throwback helmet. Now we just hope Sparky makes a cameo sometime soon.
