Ben Hill Griffin Stadium’s ‘Florida Field’ Sign Fittingly Lost Its ‘O’ & ‘D’s During Hurricane Irma

It’s only fitting that Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium lost the ‘O’ and ‘D’s that are supposed to spell out “Florida Field” during Hurricane Irma after a dismal performance by the Gators in a season-opening 31-17 loss to Michigan.

Personally, we think the Gators should have to earn the letters back instead of them automatically being replaced — but that’s none of our business. ?☕️
