Clemson strength coach Adam Smotherman (yes, that’s really his last name) is also the personal “get back” coach of Tigers defensive coordinator Brent Venables to stop the DC from getting a 15-yard penalty for being on the field.
But apparently Smotherman took it a step too far by tugging on Venables’ shirt during a 31-17 win over Virginia Tech on Saturday night.
