Per The Old Dominion Post:

Mountaineer mascot Troy Clemons was arrested for DUI, according to court records.

The Monongalia County Sheriffs Department arrested him on Oct. 27. He was arraigned in Monongalia County Magistrate Court and released on a personal recognizance bond.

According to his criminal complaint: A deputy stopped Clemons for speeding on Stewartstown Road.

He failed field sobriety tests, and a preliminary breath test showed a .126 blood alcohol content, above the .08 legal driving limit.

A DUI is never a laughing matter but considering the character he plays, Clemsons’ arrest isn’t exactly surprising.
