Connor Stalions stirred the sports world up yet again this week.
On Friday, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that a Detroit high school brought the infamous ex-Michigan coach on to join the high school football team’s coaching staff.
Thamel quoted Mumford High coach Willie McMichael saying, “He might be the most hated man in college football, but the coaches and kids at Mumford High School love him.”

Additionally, the Detroit Free-Press reports the school hired him to be their defensive coordinator.

Stalions landing another job elsewhere outside of college football isn’t so much surprising as it is humorous maybe. Stalions became implicated in Michigan’s 2023 sign-stealing scandal. The NCAA hasn’t made a move on the Wolverines yet, pending a case that still has to really play out.
That said, you shouldn’t expect Stalions and his name to go away it seems.
