The Tennessee Volunteers were the talk of the college sports world on Saturday. Tennessee scored a huge recruiting win that will help pave the way for future success. The Volunteers can now boast the top-ranked offensive tackle to their name in the Class of 2025. David Sanders Jr. announced his commitment to the Vols on Saturday afternoon.
Sanders Jr.’s commitment gave the Volunteers their first five-star in the Class of 2025, which rose into the Top 10 in the 2025 cycle following the news.

Sanders Jr. is an elite recruit, as he sits as the top-ranked offensive tackle in the Class of 2025. His commitment is Tennessee’s gain, as the Volunteers continue a run of having an elite linemen in tow. Names like Trey Smith have recently helped anchor the line for the Vols.
Sanders is the first five-star to join the Vols’ vaunted 2025 class, which rose to the Top 10 nationally with his commitment. Tennessee has a blue-chip % of over 50 percent, meaning over half the class is rated four stars or above (in Sanders’ case).
