The Michigan Wolverines appeared to have a trick up their sleeves for Saturday’s season opener against Florida, as maize jerseys showed up in retail stores prior to Saturday’s game vs. Florida.
Nike has since confirmed the all-maize uniforms, which will certainly be a bold move for a program so steeped in tradition and that has steered away from alternate uniforms since Jim Harbaugh returned to Ann Arbor at the end of 2014.
The maize jerseys aren’t bad but the all-maize look is a little too close to an NFL “Color Rush” uniform for our taste.

Florida vs. Michigan will basically be a Color Rush game in an NFL stadium, huh? Via Nike:https://t.co/dOuFoFRxTy pic.twitter.com/WE5WxGrqiv
