Colandrea appeared last season for the Cavaliers a lot. He went 154 for 246 on pass attempts, completing 62.6 percent, with 1,958 yards and 13 touchdowns. Colandrea threw nine interceptions as well, but the Cavaliers hope those turnovers have been ironed out.
Virginia will play in a competitive ACC expected to be headlined by Miami and Florida State this season. Georgia Tech’s ongoing romp of the Seminoles is making things very interesting in the conference. But we’ll see where the Cavaliers end up shaking out this year.
Virginia will open the 2024 college football season next Saturday, August 31, against Richmond. They will kick off at 6 p.m. local time beore jumping into ACC play the following week against Wake Forest down in Winston-Salem.
