Paul Finebaum hasn’t been bashful on his opinions on Deion Sanders. The Colorado Buffaloes’ head coach has been brazen in his strategy out in Boulder. While last year they disappointed, Colorado has played differently this year. In a positive way, as the Buffs are 4-1 and Travis Hunter is arguably the Heisman Trophy frontrunner.

With Finebaum’s outspokenness, you might think that Sanders may think negatively of the longtime southeastern personality. Not so much, as it turns out.

247Sports’ Carl Reed Jr. joined Finebaum on Thursday. Reed had a simple, clear message from Deion to Finebaum that helped clear the air on how Sanders really feels.

“BREAKING: Coach Prime is actually a big fan of the Finebaum Show,” the show posted on X Thursday afternoon.

“One of the number one questions I get asked, no matter where I go,” Reed said. “Man, what is going on with Paul Finebaum and Coach Prime? Does Paul not like Prime? Does Prime not like Paul? I say, I don’t think they have anything against each other. Prime told me today, Paul, he loves your show,” he revealed. Reed told Finebaum to tell him he “appreciates” the coverage on Colorado and respects the longtime SEC personality’s opinion.

Reed joked he needs to get Finebaum to Colorado and sit next to rapper Rick Ross. That would make for quite the TV moment.
