The Washington Huskies moved to the Big Ten Conference this season. But with that move comes some inconvenience, as they’ve found out already. The Huskies announced the start time for their upcoming game against Indiana, and it didn’t go over well.
Washington will play the Hoosiers out in Bloomington at Noon Eastern, but that means that Husky fans will have to be up bright and early to watch the team. Kickoff will be at 9 a.m. Pacific Time, a trade-off Washington had to make to make their move.
The Huskies posted the game-time, and the people weren’t happy.

Replies like these became commonplace.
Lol a 9AM game…and you will probably lose.

Killed the PAC 12 just to play Indiana at 9AM, nice work đź‘Ť

The 4:45 AM PT wake up call is a huge competitive disadvantage. West coast teams should not be eligible for the 9 AM PT game this is ridiculous.

So a 9 AM game on a network you still haven’t figured out how to broadcast to your fans. Bang up job Big10

Another 9AM game on the “Big Ten” network? You left the Pac-12 for this?

Others seemed to take pride in knocking the Huskies for their past misdeeds in breaking up the Pac-12.
Half Shares and consistent 9 AM starts…. https://t.co/h3plcMc5CX

Seeing the comments and people complaining about ANOTHER 0900 kickoff is amazing https://t.co/R81fCb3HRX

UW quickly realizing where they stand on the Big10 totem pole! (Half share puts them at the bottom). https://t.co/iUGwjPm5cY

Whatever the case, Husky fans were restless yet again over their early start times. It’s going to have to take some getting used to like everything else.
