The reeling Florida State Seminoles lost an elite commit earlier this week. Wide receiver CJ Wiley, a four-star talent in the Class of 2025, announced his intentions to decommit from the Seminoles. And already, an elite SEC team has their sights set on him.
The Texas A&M Aggies are reportedly interested in the newly decommitted Wiley. On3’s Chad Simmons reported the news on Tuesday.
“Texas A&M is making a move on 4-star WR CJ Wiley,” On3’s recruits account posted.

It’s been a difficult season for Florida State, and that might be putting it mildly. The Seminoles are a mere 1-7 throughout the season. They’re 1-6 in ACC play, with the lone win against the California Golden Bears. This is a stark contrast and then some to their unbeaten effort last season.
If Mike Norvell, in his fifth season in Tallahassee, isn’t on the hot seat, it’s not exactly lukewarm either.
The news of Wiley’s decommit from FSU sent the ‘Noles reeling a bit more. Seeing that now another SEC squad have potentially entered the fray, it’s gotta sting more. Especially when LSU and Georgia are potential landing spots as well.
