“Standout defender for UNC Football, Kaimon Rucker, is leading by example and stepping up to help those in Western NC affected by Hurricane Helene,” the Carolina NIL account boasted. His donation will go to the MANNA Food Bank located in Asheville, North Carolina.
The account also noted that companies like Food Lion and Wells Fargo have already matched Rucker’s donations.
The catastrophe Hurricane Helene left behind was unfathomable. So it’s good to see someone like Rucker, in the positio nthat he’s in, step up and do the right thing. Others around the sports world and otherwise have stepped up as well.
The MANNA Food Bank in Asheville is still accepting donations on its website from anyone who can provide them.
