When LSU Tigers defensive tackle Jacobian Guillory tore his Achilles in the team’s 44-21 win over the Nicholls State Colonels on September 7, it was feared that the injury would bring the fifth-year senior’s career to an abrupt end.
Fans haven’t heard much from Guillory since, with many wondering if he would try to get a medical redshirt and a sixth season of eligibility.
This week on The Jordy Culotta Show, the big man confirmed that he would return to LSU for a final season, saying he couldn’t let his career end the way it did.

“I want to come back for another season. What I fought for at LSU, I can’t let it end like that. So coming back for another season, it’s not only big for me, but it’s big for my family. It’s big for Alexandria back home. It’s big for everybody,” Guillory said.
Guillory has made 41 career appearances for LSU and three starts. He’s recorded 51 tackles in his time in Baton Rouge and will plug right back into the team’s defensive line rotation upon his return in the 2025 season,
