Hurricane Helene continues to develop in the Tropics. This game likely won’t be the only one rescheduled, postponed, or even outright canceled this weekend. We’ll continue to be mindful of the situation and monitor everything. Our best wishes are to everyone in the state of Florida who could be affected by the hurricane.
An AccuWeather post on the Hurricane said of the storm, “Helene will take a similar path to Hurricane Debby, which made landfall in the Big Bend area of Florida on Aug. 5 as a Category 1 hurricane. However, Helene is forecast to be significantly larger and more powerful than Debby, making it a more dangerous storm.”
