The Ole Miss Rebels are riding high. Ole Miss upended Georgia over the weekend to send the Bulldogs down the chute. They also just earned a massive recruiting victory over SEC powerhouse Alabama.
The Rebels successfully flipped five-star wide receiver and Mississippi native Caleb Cunningham from the Crimson Tide. This recruiting splash became official on Tuesday afternoon.
“Five-Star WR Caleb Cunningham has Flipped his Commitment from Alabama to Ole Miss,” On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported.

This is a big move for Ole Miss, whose trajectory continues to stay on the right path under head coach Lane Kiffin. The Rebels are competing with the best in the SEC. They’ve already taken down Georgia this year, and with any luck, and maybe some help, could still make the SEC Championship Game in December.
Following Cunningham’s commitment, Ole Miss will rank 17th in the nation in 2025 and ninth in the talent-rich SEC. There’s still a ways to go and an entire transfer portal cycle left for the Rebs to keep making an impact.
Cunningham is an elite wide receiver in his class and hopes to follow in a developing line of great receivers in Oxford. A.J. Brown is chief among them, and as long as things keep humming, the Rebels will continue to be a potential destination for wide receivers.
