Heisman contender Ashton Jeanty is the best running back in college football history. The Boise State superstar has put up prolific numbers for the Broncos in the backfield this season. There’s a reason why he’s still a Heisman contender in mid-November out of the Group of 5.
With so much intrigue in the Heisman race, there’s plenty of intrigue on where he might land in the NFL. He’s bound to be the top running back prospect in this year’s draft. So where will he go?
If Jeanty had a say, he knows exactly what he’d do. The Boise State superstar joined the Kickin’ It With Dee podcast and revealed his dream NFL destination.
None other than the Dallas Cowboys.
Jeanty, who played high school football in Frisco, Texas, explained that because of the family and hometown aspects, that the Cowboys would be the perfect place for him to play in the NFL next season.

“If I could script it? My family’s all in Texas. Family being there, all the connections, all the relationships, that would be the perfect city to play in,” he explained. Jeanty and Dee then jokingly called on Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to “make the call.”
With Dallas’ dismal season, the Cowboys will likely be picking high this year. The question is: Will they pick too high to take Ashton Jeanty?
