The LSU Tigers lost a heartbreaker to the USC Trojans on Sunday night. In a thrilling Sunday night matchup in Las Vegas, USC bested LSU with a touchdown run with less than 10 seconds remaining.
LSU’s hard-earned victory went down in smoke as they fell 27-20 in the season opener to the Big Ten Trojans, which is still a bit weird to say.
After the game, head coach Brian Kelly received significant criticism, unsurprisingly.
Tyler Horka pointed out a stunning fact: that Brian Kelly’s LSU Tigers have gone 0-3 in neutral site openers in the last three seasons. That includes multiple losses to the Florida State Seminoles.
Going 0-3 in neutral site season openers seems impossible but that’s exactly what Brian Kelly has done in his first three years at LSU. Yikes.

Others continued poking fun at Kelly, roasting him and the Tigers for their efforts.

If you need 10 wins in a season, Brian Kelly will give you 10 wins.

College football writer Matt Fortuna alluded to a potential complex some fandoms might face right now.

And then there was Brandon Walker, who was much more emphatic.
Brian Kelly is the least fun coach in America and he’s at the most fun program. Get somebody else.

Kelly and the Tigers didn’t start the season on the right foot. That might have gotten them into trouble online, as the criticism and jokes haven’t let up since the final whistle.
