While the world had its eyes on the National Football League, there was an absolutely incredible punt in college football.
The Colorado School of Mines has gotten attention over the years. Former coach Bob Stitt was responsible for that attention with his creative and innovative offense.
But on Thursday night, it was the punter who took center stage.
“I didn’t think this Colorado School of Mines punt would ever come down,” X user cjzero posted.

Colorado School of Mines punter Blake Doud just uncorked an 80-yard punt that was downed at the one-yard line. Not a typo. Eighty.
