Nebraska Cornhuskers freshman phenom quarterback Dylan Raiola has led the team to a 3-1 start, marking the first time the Huskers have started 3-1 or better since 2019.
In his first four collegiate games, Raiola has gone 83-for-115 for 967 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and two interceptions.
While Nebraska’s first loss of the season came last Friday in their Big Ten opener when they fell to the Illinois Fighting Illini 31-24 in overtime, Raiola continues to impress, recording season-highs in passing yardage (297) and passing touchdowns (3) in his Big Ten debut.
With all of Raiola’s success, it made sense that, on Sunday night, Raiola’s younger brother Dayton posted that he was also committing to the Cornhuskers.

Dayton is a 2026 three-star quarterback from Buford, Georgia. He also had offers from the Appalachian State Mountaineers and Charlotte 49ers but chose Nebraska.
Should Dayton Raiola appear in a game for the Cornhuskers, he’ll be the third member of his family to do so. Brother Dylan is the current starting quarterback, but their father, Dominic, played center for the Cornhuskers from 1997-2000, taking home the 2000 Rimington Trophy before spending 13 seasons with the NFL’s Detroit Lions.
In addition to their history of playing at the school, Donovan Raiola, Dominic’s brother and Dayton and Dylan’s uncle, has been Nebraska’s offensive line coach since 2022.
