The Florida State Seminoles will make a change at quarterback. FSU head coach Mike Norvell announced a change on Tuesday morning. Transfer D.J. Uiagalaleli will miss this week’s game after suffering a hand injury, meaning Brock Glenn will take the starting role.

“Mike Norvell says that DJ Uiagalelei will be out the next couple of weeks with his hand jury,” FSU fansite Warchant.com said. “Brock Glenn and Luke Kromenhoek split most of the reps today as they started Clemson week.”

Curt Weller later confirmed the news and said Glenn would start at QB for FSU this weekend against the rival Tigers.

“It’ll be Brock Glenn at QB this week for FSU,” he said.

One of Uiagalelei’s teammates, RJ Mickens, who also was his roommate at Clemson, picked up news of the injury and reacted with disappointment.

Others offered good outlook, while some weren’t as optimistic.

Really, it’s an unfortunate situation developed for Uiagalelei, who seemed to simply hit a wall and couldn’t recover.
