Hawaii assistant coach Sean Duggan made a serious mistake on Saturday when he celebrated a blocked kick by 6-foot-7, 270-pound defensive tackle Viane Moala.
Duggan had surgery on Wednesday and is expected to travel with the team for Saturday’s game at UCLA.
Joked head coach Nick Rolovich: “You advise against chest-bumping a six-foot-seven, 300lb. Tongan. That’s just – as a new haole guy on the island, that’s just not something you should make a habit.”
