ESPN noted that the Owls were a whopping 27-point underdogs, and also still didn’t record a win yet in their first FBS season. It was going to be headline news whenever they got it, but their drought came to an end before the end of October.
The Owl have gotten a rise in attention and notoriety since their move to the FBS. College Football 25 gamers have frequently used them in dynasty mode as the ultimate upstart program.
Additionally, their recognition may grow soon because of one of their famous alumni. WWE superstar Bron Breakker, who played at Kennesaw State in the late 2010s, is now a two-time Intercontinental Champion.
They’ll be talking about this historic victory against Liberty for quite some time, we imagine. Good for the Owls, and may more victories come their way.
