Livvy Dunne will reportedly be in the house this weekend for LSU-Alabama. The annual Southeastern Conference tilt always draws the nation’s attention. While this year’s teams are down a peg, it’s still sure to be a very exciting matchup. The intensity will be present. So will Dunne and another former LSU standout.
Dunne and boyfriend Paul Skenes, a former LSU pitcher who excelled with the Pittsburgh Pirates this season, are teed up to be in Baton Rouge. The couple will reportedly be the guest pickers on ESPN’s College GameDay this weekend in Baton Rouge.
On3’s Pete Nakos reported the exciting news.

LSU and Alabama have had memorable games on the football field before. It’s been a few years since the matchup was as consequential as it used to be, with 2019 being the last time both were in striking distance of a National Championship. The 12-team playoff has arrived, but since both Alabama and LSU have earned losses to this point, Saturday’s results may feel more like desperation to stay alive, or potentially seeing it all go up in smoke.
Dunne is one of the most high-profile student-athletes around. She’s huge on both TikTok and Instagram, with millions of followers to her name. She’s been one of the faces of the Name, Image, and Likeness movement that’s taken college sports over. Skenes, meanwhile, was an accomplished pitcher with the Tigers. The Pirates drafted him last year, and it didn’t take him long to reach the bigs. He had an incredible season and may finish as a National League Rookie of the Year finalist for his troubles.
It’s going to be a big day in Baton Rouge.
