The Michigan Wolverines might be down in 2024, but they’re not out. Michigan boasted on Monday that they scored an elite commitment from a talented offensive lineman.
Michigan has won in the trenches before and they hope to again after landing 5-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola.
The talented Babalola, out of Overland Park, Kansas, confirmed the news of the commitment with a post.
“All Glory to God!” Babalola said.

Babalola is one of the nation’s elite recruits from the Class of 2025. He ranks 11th on On3’s rankings, which are led by LSU commit and Michigan native Bryce Underwood. Will Black, a Notre Dame commit, and David Sanders Jr., a Tennessee commit, are the only two offensive tackles ranked ahead of Babalola next year.
To no surprise, Babalola is the top recruit in the state of Kansas.
According to Hayes Fawcett, the talented Babalola elected to commit to Michigan over several other notable schools. Auburn, Mizzou, Oklahoma, and Stanford were all in on him.

Michigan’s 2025 recruiting class now ranks 12th in the country and fourth in the Big Ten, behind Ohio State and newcomers Oregon and Southern California. The Wolverines might have to step up their recruiting game to keep up with the pace, but earning Babolola‘s commitment was a huge move for head coach Sherrone Moore and the Michigan program.
