This January, a new College Football Playoff National Champion will be crowned, and for the first time ever, a 12-team playoff will decide the champion. Amid a changing atmosphere in the sport, the heavyweights of college football are expected to reign over the sport again. A few ESPN analysts called their shots and made predictions on who they think will be the National Champion this season.

Mike Greenberg, Paul Finebaum, and Heather Dinich discussed who they think will win this year’s National Championship.

Greeney picked the Ohio State Buckeyes, while Finebaum and Dinich each predicted the Georgia Bulldogs would win the championship.

Greenberg went with a popular choice in Ohio State, who boasts one of the most talented teams in the nation. There’s an immense pressure to deliver in Columbus this year though. It’s anyone’s guess to see if the Bucks can prove themselves.

Georgia, meanwhile, is the top-ranked team in the nation going into the season. They play in a competitive SEC, but one they’re no stranger to winning either. So it’s no surprise that Dinich and Finebaum went with the Dawgs.

Everything is steadfast approaching. It won’t be long now.
